World Clock & Meeting Planner

Pick a date and time in your zone and see it in every city on your list, with an hour-by-hour grid that marks working hours in each place — so you can find a meeting slot that works for India, Europe and the Americas at once.

A ready-made version of the Time Zone Converter.

How this is calculated

Local time (to) = Local time (from) − UTC offset (from, on that date) + UTC offset (to, on that date)

UTC offset
From the IANA time-zone database for that exact date — so daylight saving is included
Gap / overlap
Local times skipped when clocks spring forward, or repeated when they fall back

Converting time zones isn't a fixed number of hours: offsets change with daylight saving, on different dates in different countries (and not at all in India). The converter first finds the exact moment your local time refers to, then shows it in the other zone. When clocks spring forward, a local time like 02:30 can be skipped; when they fall back, 01:30 happens twice — both cases are flagged instead of silently guessed.

Assumptions & sources

  • Uses your browser's IANA time-zone database (rules for future years can change if a country changes its laws).
  • Times are to the second; leap seconds are ignored, as in UTC timekeeping on computers.

Common questions

How does the meeting planner choose hours?

It checks each hour of your chosen day and keeps the ones where the whole hour falls within working hours in every zone on the list. Change the working hours under More options.

Why does the grid show +1 day?

For zones far ahead or behind, the same moment can already be tomorrow (or still yesterday) there.
