Privacy policy

Short version: the numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser, unless you choose to share a link.

What you enter

Calculations run entirely in your browser. The amounts, ages, rates and other values you enter are not sent to our servers, and we do not store or sell them.

One exception you control: Share puts the values into the link itself. Anyone you give the link to can see them, and opening the link sends it — values included — to the host like any page request, so it may appear in the standard logs described below. Copy results, PDF and CSV are made in your browser and go only where you save or paste them.

Feedback, suggestions and bug reports

The forms at the bottom of every page send us only what you write in them: your message, steps to reproduce a bug, any screenshots you attach, a rating if you pick one, your email address if you choose to give it, and — unless you untick it — the address of the page you were on (just the path, never the values in it). For bug reports we also keep your browser's name and version, because many bugs only happen in one browser.

Before you attach a screenshot, check that it shows nothing private. Messages are stored in our database with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, read only by us, used only to reply and to improve the site, and never sold or shared. We keep them for up to two years; ask through the same form (with the email you used) and we'll delete yours sooner.

Visit counter

The site shows how many times it has been visited. Each time a page opens, your browser tells our server that page's path (for example /loans/emi-planner — no values, no query string), and the server adds one to two running totals: pages viewed, and visits (the first page in each browser tab). Nothing else is recorded: no IP address, no cookie, no identifier, and no way to tell who visited or link one visit to another. Search-engine robots aren't counted.

What is stored on your device

To remember your choices, the site saves a few items in your browser's local storage: calculators you saved for later and recently used calculators. While a tab is open, the browser also keeps your scroll position on pages you've visited (session storage), so Back returns you to the same place, and a note that this tab's visit has been counted, so it's counted once; both are cleared when you close the tab. None of this includes the values you type, it stays on your device, and you can clear it from your browser settings at any time.

Accounts

There are no accounts and no sign-up.

Server logs and hosting

Like any website, the host that serves these pages may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, for security and reliability.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics service or advertising — the visit counter above is our own two totals, not a tracking tool. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent.
