Statistics Calculator
Enter a list of numbers to compute mean, median, mode, range, and both population and sample standard deviation/variance. Switch to weighted average to give each value its own weight — marks by credits, prices by quantity.

How this is calculated
A weighted average multiplies each value by its weight, adds those up and divides by the total weight, so heavier-weighted values count for more. Population statistics assume your data is the entire group of interest. Sample statistics apply Bessel's correction (dividing by N−1 instead of N) when your data is a sample used to estimate a larger population's characteristics.
