Convert between digital storage units — decimal (SI, powers of 1000: KB/MB/GB/TB) and binary (IEC, powers of 1024: KiB/MiB/GiB/TiB) — including between the two, e.g. how much of a 1 TB drive Windows will show.

Decimal units (KB, MB, GB, TB) are powers of 1,000 — used on drive packaging and for network speeds. Binary units (KiB, MiB, GiB, TiB) are powers of 1,024 — what Windows shows (labelled GB) and RAM sizes use. That's why a 1 TB drive shows as about 931 GB in Windows.
